The Class Moderator is a person who has volunteered to assist with reunion activities, student status and other class related information. The class moderator will (God willing) put in a great amount of work with the help of other classmates and friends to maintain a list of current addresses and status of the classmates. This list assists in getting these classmates notified in the event of a class reunion. Additionally the class moderator helps and guides in planning a reunion. Many THANKS to these BEARS who volunteer their valuable time for the EAST BEAR NATION homepage. If you are not the "volunteer" type, you can still help make this site a place for contact information, pictures, and other East High memorabila. In the past two months a lot of East High information has been added, but much more information needs to be gathered and uploaded to this site. |

This allows several years to share the expense (which can be a considerable amount of money) of the reunion and to see friends that didn't necessarily graduate with you but were family, friends or neighbors of another close year. Class of 1975 - 30 Year Reunion
Well, I saw my first e-mail on this sight so I might as well let you know what we have planned for our 30th! First of all, whoever reads this, please give me your e-mail address to up-date our mailing list and please pass on this website to others from our class that you keep in touch with. This is always the toughest part, tracking down you all!!.
On Friday, August 12, 2005, we will get together at Tanner's in Lee's Summit. Ron Riggs owns the establishment and willingly agreed to let us hang out there. And, from what I hear a lot of you frequent Tanner's so why not invite everyone else!
On Saturday, August 13, 2005, we are having a family picnic. Some of you are "grandparents"!! so load up the family and bring them with you. All are welcome.
The picnic will be at Baumgardner Park in Blue Springs (next to Centennial Pool) and if you are not familiar with the location, directions will come later. We will have a catered picnic (yet to be determined), a juke-box, loaded with all the favorites from the 70's, various sport activities, along with swimming next door for the kids that would like to. Hey 1984 Classmates,
We have cancelled all Friday night activities at Adam's Mark as well
as Brunch. Due to lack of paid reservations, we have changed Sunday's
picnic to "Bring Your OWN Picnic" which means bring everything you
need for everyone you bring including charcoal, cleaning supplies,
games, food, drink and so forth.
We will still have the Saturday, August 7, 2004 Free party at Fox &
the Hound Independence Commons from 8pm-12am. We'll be selling t-
shirts and autograph bears and encourage you to come and invite all
classmates you're in touch with to "Share your Memories" , we're also
inviting faculty members we can find to this event.
Sunday, August 8, 2004 we have reserved the Kenagy Park with monies
from committee members pockets so we're still on from 2pm -6pm, but
we will NOT be providing anything but Shelter #1. Kenagy Park is
located at 79th Street between Blue Ridge & Raytown Rd in Raytown, MO.
If you would like to attend one or both of these events, we still
need to hear from you so PLEASE contact one of the committee members
by July 15 to assure we'll save your space. Contact a committee
member now!!!!!!

Class of 1975 - 30 Year ReunionWell, I saw my first e-mail on this sight so I might as well let you know what we have planned for our 30th! First of all, whoever reads this, please give me your e-mail address to up-date our mailing list and please pass on this website to others from our class that you keep in touch with. This is always the toughest part, tracking down you all!!.
On Friday, August 12, 2005, we will get together at Tanner's in Lee's Summit. Ron Riggs owns the establishment and willingly agreed to let us hang out there. And, from what I hear a lot of you frequent Tanner's so why not invite everyone else!
On Saturday, August 13, 2005, we are having a family picnic. Some of you are "grandparents"!! so load up the family and bring them with you. All are welcome.
The picnic will be at Baumgardner Park in Blue Springs (next to Centennial Pool) and if you are not familiar with the location, directions will come later. We will have a catered picnic (yet to be determined), a juke-box, loaded with all the favorites from the 70's, various sport activities, along with swimming next door for the kids that would like to. A photographer will be on sight to do a memory book which you can order at that time. My e-mail address is fvg51025@msn.com and Hey 1984 Classmates, We have cancelled all Friday night activities at Adam's Mark as well as Brunch. Due to lack of paid reservations, we have changed Sunday's picnic to "Bring Your OWN Picnic" which means bring everything you need for everyone you bring including charcoal, cleaning supplies, games, food, drink and so forth. We will still have the Saturday, August 7, 2004 Free party at Fox & the Hound Independence Commons from 8pm-12am. We'll be selling t- shirts and autograph bears and encourage you to come and invite all classmates you're in touch with to "Share your Memories" , we're also inviting faculty members we can find to this event. Sunday, August 8, 2004 we have reserved the Kenagy Park with monies from committee members pockets so we're still on from 2pm -6pm, but we will NOT be providing anything but Shelter #1. Kenagy Park is located at 79th Street between Blue Ridge & Raytown Rd in Raytown, MO. If you would like to attend one or both of these events, we still need to hear from you so PLEASE contact one of the committee members by July 15 to assure we'll save your space.
